Do you remember these ones who knocked on our door one night and asked if they could move in with us? They’ve kept to themselves most of the time but it’s been nice having them around. One day it was very quiet when I came home and I found a note where they thanked us for having them but they had to move on to another place. We didn’t know where they went until today when we got these pictures.
I’ve spent the whole day putting seeds into dirt in our sunny courtyard. We already have lots of herbs and flowers but today I added chili, peppers, tomatoes and – lots and lots of Garden nasturtium (Slingerkrasse) and Rose mallow (Sommarmalva). I used an old pallet to grow some in and it was super easy and lots of fun. Hopefully in a month or so this corner of the courtyard will be covered in pink, yellow, orange and red flowers. And apparently the flowers of Garden nasturtium are edible and perfect in summer sallads. Yum!
